Chloe was such a doll.  We did her children's photography session in north Scottsdale at Kierland Commons.  It was oh so much fun - and everyone that walked by fell in love with her in her little pink tutu.

This weeks favorite.... little person!

My sister gave birth to a perfect little boy last night.  Jackson Peter.  He was 5 lbs. 10 oz and over 18 inches long.  Such a beauty.  I am off to the hospital to visit - but stay tuned for another birth slideshow.

This Week's Favorite Things

I am starting a new feature on the blog!  Every Friday - I will post my current "favorite things".  I figure I spend a LOT of time online and should put it to some good use :)  Send me your suggestions!  It can be ANYTHING!  (Think music, artists, clothes, kid's activity websites, boutiques, blogs you LOVE, gadgets, just about anything!  Local stuff is AWESOME too!)  If I post your favorite thing, you will be entered in a monthly drawing for a free session!  Just send me a quick email with a short explanation as to why it is your "favorite" thing, and a link to a place that I can find it online.  It's that easy!  If I LOVE it as much as you - you're in!

2. My favorite writer, Catherine Newman, has an archive of articles written about her family - read one for a good laugh (or cry, depending on how emotional you are) while you are waiting for the clock to strike 5:00!

Sweet Sophia.  What a gorgeous little girl.  We had so much fun dancing and jumping at our children's photography session this afternoon in north Scottsdale.  Her family is visiting from Minnesota, so we got to shoot at their hotel, the gorgeous Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale - it was perfect!  Sophia also wore her new outfit found at child.hood boutique.  Thanks for hanging out with me Sophia - I had a blast :)

Oh. So. Lovely.  This little Lyla has the chubbiest cheeks and I can't get enough of them.  She is not yet 9 months and already dreams of walking.  She curiously inspects your feet as you walk and then mimics their movement with sheer excitement.  Mama's smile is quite contagious, and little Lyla seems to have inherited that fabulous trait!  What a doll.
